A 42-years-old man, Mr. K. V. S. P. reported Life Force for the treatment of his Trigeminal neuralgia on 23rd February 2017. He was suffering from it for 4 years. He was experiencing pain, which was extending from the left side of his head to the left side of the nose and below the left eye. The pain used to remain for a few seconds to minutes to almost half a day. His pain was increased gradually. The frequency of pain was once in 2-3 days but 2-3 times a day. His pain used to increase after chewing, brushing, running, and after something would be stuck up in his teeth. His relief from the pain used to be better by warm water. He used to take tablet Tegretol CR 200 TDS for 4 years and then on and off whenever required since 2 months, and tablet Liofen 5mg BD daily for 4 years and then on and off whenever required since 2 months.
He was having an associated complaint of Ankylosing spondylitis since 5-6 years. It was continuous, stable, and moderate in intensity. He was having complaints of stiffness in the neck and back, difficulty in moving his neck and could only move his neck by only 5%. Along with this he was having left hip joint replaced in 2016 and he could not bend.

In the first follow up after one-month patient on 25th March 2017, the patient reported that his relief from Trigeminal neuralgia pain was better by 25% since 15 days. His tablet Tegretol CR 200 TDS, which he was taking for 4 years and then on and off whenever required since 2 months, and tablet Liofen 5mg BD, which he was daily for 4 years and then on and off whenever required since 2 months, were on.
In the second follow-up after 3 months on 2nd May 2017, the patient reported that his relief from Trigeminal neuralgia pain was better by 50% since 15 days. His tablet Tegretol CR 200 was made once in a day since 1 month and tablet Liofen 5mg was stopped for 1 month.
In the third follow-up after 4.5 months on 7th June 2017, the patient reported that his relief from Trigeminal neuralgia pain was better by 50%-60% since 15 days. His tablet Tegretol CR 200 was made once in a day was continued and tablet Liofen 5mg was stopped.
In the fourth follow-up after 6 months on 28th July 2017, the patient reported that his relief from Trigeminal neuralgia pain was better by 50%-60% since 15 days. His tablet Tegretol CR 200 was stopped and tablet Liofen 5mg was also stopped.
In the fifth follow-up after 7.5 months on 15th September 2017, the patient reported that his relief from Trigeminal neuralgia pain was better by 100%. He had experienced no episode in the last four months. He was able to chew, brush, run, and was not experiencing pain when something got stuck in his teeth. His tablet Tegretol CR 200 was stopped and tablet Liofen 5mg was also stopped.
In the sixth follow-up after 9 months on 22nd November 2017, the patient reported that his relief from Trigeminal neuralgia pain was better by 100% and no episode had occurred. He was able to chew, brush, run, and was not experiencing pain when something got stuck in his teeth. His tablet Tegretol CR 200 was stopped and tablet Liofen 5mg was also stopped.
In the seventh follow-up after 11.5 months on 12th February 2018, the patient reported that his relief from Trigeminal neuralgia pain was better by 100% and no episode had occurred. He was able to chew, brush, run, and was not experiencing pain when something got stuck in teeth. His tablet Tegretol CR 200 was stopped and tablet Liofen 5mg was also stopped.
In the eighth follow-up after 14 months on 26th April 2018, the patient reported that his relief from Trigeminal neuralgia pain was better by 100% and no episode had occurred. He was able to chew, brush, run, and was not experiencing pain when something got stuck in teeth. His tablet Tegretol CR 200 was stopped and tablet Liofen 5mg was also stopped.
In the ninth follow-up after 15.5 months on 17th July 2018, the patient reported that his relief from Trigeminal neuralgia pain was better by 100% and no episode had occurred. He was able to chew, brush, run, and was not experiencing pain when something got stuck in teeth. His tablet Tegretol CR 200 was stopped and tablet Liofen 5mg was also stopped.
In the 10th follow-up after 17.5 months on 25th September 2018, the patient reported that his relief from Trigeminal neuralgia pain was 100% better and no episode was observed. He was able to chew, brush, run, and was not experiencing pain when something got stuck in teeth. His tablet Tegretol CR 200 was stopped and tablet Liofen 5mg was also stopped.
In the 11th follow-up after 20 months on 10th December 2018, the patient reported that his relief from Trigeminal neuralgia pain was better by 100% and no major episode was observed, but, one month back only, the pain was felt after brushing just once. He was able to chew, brush, run and was not experiencing the pain when something got stuck in teeth. His tablet Tegretol CR 200 was stopped and tablet Liofen 5mg was also stopped.
In the 12th follow-up after 21.5 months on 2nd February 2019, the patient reported that his relief from Trigeminal neuralgia pain was 100% better and no major episode had occurred. He was able to chew, brush, run, and was not experiencing pain when something got stuck in his teeth. His tablet Tegretol CR 200 was stopped and tablet Liofen 5mg was also stopped.
In the last follow-up after 25 months on 16th May 2019, the patient reported that his relief from Trigeminal neuralgia pain was 100% better and no major episode had affected him. He was able to chew, brush, run, and was not experiencing pain when something got stuck in his teeth. His tablet Tegretol CR 200 was stopped and tablet Liofen 5mg was also stopped.
Conclusion:
This case highlights that Trigeminal Neuralgia can be controlled 100% with a continuous Homeopathic treatment effectively and safely without any side-effects.
