A 10-year-old female child (PIN: 37161) came along with her parents to Life Force Homeopathic Clinic for the complaints of her Underactive Thyroid on 18th June 2018.
She had been complaining of rapid weight gain from the last 1.5 years along with sluggishness, unsatisfactory stools, and hair fall. Her TSH levels checked on 17th May 2018 were 6.5uIU/ml (High), T3 was 150ng/ml (Normal), and T4 was 8.7ug/dL (Normal). She had a strong genetic link of autoimmune diseases. Her mother had K/C/O Hypothyroidism. Her brother had Vitiligo.
The patient was not on any conventional treatment for the same. She did not have any other health issues.
The patient was a vegetarian by diet. She did not have any significant cravings for any specific foodstuff. She used to have offensive perspiration. The patient was a chilly patient thermally. She had not attained menarche yet.
The patient was quiet and affectionate by nature. She excelled in her studies and had a sharp memory.

Follow-Ups:
After 3 months of taking homeopathic medications, when the patient visited us on 1st October 2018, her relief from the complaints of hair fall and unsatisfactory stools was better. She had also started performing physical activities to reduce her weight.
Her TSH levels checked on 26th September 2018 were normal (TSH: 4.64uIU/mL)
After 8 months of homeopathic treatment at Life Force, when the patient visited us on 16th February 2019, the relief from all her complaints was better. Her thyroid levels were also in the normal range (TSH: 1.49uIU/mL as checked on 15/02/2019)

Conclusion:
This case illustrates that homoeopathy works effectively in early-detected cases of Underactive Thyroid.
