A 12-years-old boy, Mast. A.R. (PIN: 31019) was brought to the clinic on 16th Jan 2017 for the treatment of the Nephrotic syndrome. He was suffering from nephrotic syndrome way back from 2010, and he had taken the steroid treatment in the past. At the time of consultation, he had developed swelling on the face. His urine was frothy, and there was the intermittent passage of urine. The albumin in his urine was negative. Besides this, he was not suffering from any other complaint.
The patient was vegetarian by diet. His appetite was average, and he had craving for salty foods. His bowel movements and thirst were normal, and his sleep was disturbed. His perspiration was average. He had an average build.
He was a friendly and outspoken person. His memory was good. His father was suffering from gallstones, and his paternal grandfather was suffering from diabetes mellitus.
After studying his detailed case history thoroughly, he was prescribed research-based molecule by Dr. Shah.
When the patient gave his follow-up on 10th March 2017, his father informed that there was no significant change in his condition. He had experienced one relapse during this period, for which a short course of steroids was prescribed during that period. Dr. Shah reviewed the case in detail and prescribed him with a new set of medicines.
On 25th May 2017, when the patient reported at the center, his condition had improved a lot. His facial edema and abdominal girth had reduced to a considerable extent. He had lost 2 kgs of weight. No episode had relapsed for two months. His urine protein was absent. His father was very happy with the treatment.
On 16th May 2018, the patient reported at the center for a follow-up. He had experienced no relapse of an episode of nephrotic syndrome since January 2017. His urine protein was negative. There was no swelling present on his body. His appetite had improved, and his irritability had also decreased to a considerable extent.
A few months later on 3rd October 2018, he reported for his follow-up. His parents informed that after January 2017 there was no relapse of any episode of nephrotic syndrome. All his symptoms were under control. He was off the steroids from January 2017 and still no relapse of the disease. There was an improvement in his overall health, after commencing the homeopathic treatment. Both his mental and physical conditions had improved a lot. His father was very happy with the treatment, as he didn't believe in homeopathy before taking the treatment, but now he feels that homeopathy is effective.
He is still continuing the medicine for further results and improvement.
Conclusion:
This case shows that even in complicated disease, such as nephrotic syndrome, rightly selected medicines prescribed by an experienced doctor offer drastic & fast results and promote an overall health improvement.
