A 3-year-old girl, Ms. A. S (PIN: 40799) visited Kemp’s corner branch of Life Force and started treatment for her complaint of asthmatic bronchitis on 1st August 2019.
She was suffering from asthmatic bronchitis for 1 year. She was experiencing a dry and irritating cough which usually used to increase at night. Often, she experienced sneezing with a runny nose. On examination, wheezing was noticed in the chest. The child used to suffer from episodes of asthmatic bronchitis once a month, and it used to last for 15-20 days. Her sleep was disturbed due to the continuous cough. She was given Asthalin syrup and other conventional medicines as prescribed by her pediatrician. These medicines were giving her just a temporary relief, and she was getting the episodes repeatedly
Her appetite was average. She had no specific desire for food and drink. Her thirst for water was normal. Her sleep was often disturbed because of the cough.
She was studying in a playschool. Her parents were working so she was kept in a daycare. She was a very extroverted and hyperactive child.
No major past illnesses were noticed in the patient’s medical history. Her mother was suffering from an underactive thyroid.
After studying the case in detail, Dr. Shah prescribed research-based homeopathic medicines to the patient.
Follow-Ups:
On 10th October 2019, the patient’s mother updated that her health was almost as it is. There was no improvement noticed in the patient with the medicines. The cough was still present as before. She was getting episodes every month as before. There was a dry cough with the hoarseness of voice. Her cough was frequent at night. She was required to give allopathic medicines for wheezing and acute cough. Based on this feedback, Dr. Shah reviewed the case and prescribed further medicines to the patient.
On 25th January 2020, the patient’s mother reported that she was gradually improving with the medicines. She had experienced episodes of cough but their intensity had reduced than before. Wheezing had reduced than before. Her sleep was still disturbed due to the cough. She was required to give Asthalin syrup but in less quantity than before.
On 13th February 2020, the patient’s mother reported that there was further improvement in her relief with the homeopathic medicines. In-between, she had a mild cough and tonsillitis but the intensity was less than before. She was required to give allopathic medicines for 5 days as her cough was very intense. Based on this feedback, Dr. Shah prescribed further medicines to the patient.
On 13th April 2020, the patient’s mother informed that she was better with the homeopathic medicines. The frequency of her cough had reduced now. There was no wheezing present. Her sleep was improved as the cough had reduced. She was not required to give Asthalin syrup or any allopathic medicines from the past 2 months. The patient has experienced an overall improvement with the medicines.
On 24th July 2020, the mother of the patient reported that she is further better with the medicines. She had no episode of cough in the past 4-5 months. She was completely fine now. Her appetite and sleep improved remarkably. She had a mild cough before a few days but it settled on its own in 3 days. The dependency on allopathic medicines was completely removed. The patient and her parents were very happy with her health progress.
Her parents thanked Dr. Shah and the whole Life Force team for treating their child and improving her health.
