Vitiligo is auto immune disease. There is loss of skin colour in it. Vitiligo  is not dangerous disease but can be psychological tension to patient and the family members.

In one such case of a 7-year-old girl from Assam had complained of Vitiligo for the past 3 years. The child had developed hypopigmented spots on her face, around the eyes, on the back, knees, and chest. It had started with the appearance of a small spot on her eyelids and then it gradually spread to other parts of the body. The spots were very light. She was applying allopathic ointment, but it was giving her a burning sensation so she stopped using it a few months back. She was not on any other medicines. She started online treatment from Life Force on 14th May 2020.

Physical Generals:

The patient had an average appetite. She had a craving for sweets and an aversion to vegetables. Her thirst was average. And, her sleep was often disturbed.

Psychological and Family Make-Up:

She was studying in school. Her father was doing a job, and her mother was a homemaker. By nature, the child was very short-tempered and irritable.

Self and Family’s Medical History:

The patient had no major history of any other illness. Her grandfather was suffering from a heart problem.

At Life Force:

After studying the case in detail, Dr. Shah prescribed her some research-based homeopathic medicines along with dietary modifications to the patient.

Follow-Ups:

On 21st November 2020, the patient’s mother reported that her child had experienced immense improvement with the homeopathic medicines. The spots were reducing gradually. Re-pigmentation was observed. The spots on her neck, chest, and knees were no longer seen. The patch around her eyes was there but its size had reduced. The spread of the disease was completely under control. She was also taking vitamin supplements along with homeopathic medicines.

On 2nd March 2021, the patient’s parents reported that she was almost 50% to 60% better with the homeopathic medicines. No new spots had appeared. Re-pigmentation was observed in the old spots. She was experiencing a gradual overall improvement in healing with the homeopathic medicines.

On 15th May 2021, the patient’s parents reported that she was further better with the medicines. No new spots were noticed since she started with the homeopathic treatment. The patient had experienced slow and steady improvement in re-pigmentation. Her parents were very happy with her recovery.

On 27th December 2021, the patient’s mother reported that the child was perfectly fine now. Her vitiligo patches have been completely re-pigmented. The hypopigmented spots are no longer visible. No new spot had appeared nor the spread of the disease had occurred since the beginning of Life Force’s homeopathic treatment. The skin disease was completely under control. The patient and her family were very happy with the improvement.

Conclusion:

This case illustrates that homeopathy can treat vitiligo in children successfully and safely without any side effects. Also, homeopathy can promote re-pigmentation in hypopigmented vitiligo spots in children effectively.
