A 19-years-old girl, Ms. U.A.M. (PIN: 31357) consulted at Life Force for Psoriasis on 20th February 2017. She was suffering from Psoriasis for 6-7 months. Initially, her psoriasis patches were observed on her right palm, and, later, her face, left forearm, and right palm had got affected. Erythematous, scaly lesions were observed on her palms that were itchy. She had applied steroid in the past but stopped it for one month. Besides this, she was not suffering from any other complaint.
The patient is a non-vegetarian by diet. Her appetite was normal, and she was fond of fruits, fish, chicken, and spicy foods. She didn’t like eggs. Her thirst was less. Her perspiration was profuse, mainly on her palms and soles. Her stool, urine, and menses were normal. She was a thin person with a fair complexion. Her sleep was sound.
She was a 1st year BSc student. There was no specific illness present in her past & in her family. She was timid, nervous, and sensitive in nature. She had low self-confidence. She used to get irritated on trifles. She always wanted company. That time, she didn’t have stress.
Dr. Shah studied her case in detail and prescribed her research-based molecules for Psoriasis. She was advised to do some blood tests. After five weeks of the treatment, when she gave her first follow-up on 23rd March 2017, she had experienced no change in her condition, except the watery secretion from her eruptions had reduced a lot. In her blood reports, her Vitamin D was very low so she was advised to start its supplement.
On 12th May 2017, she informed some aggravation in her condition. She said that her eruptions were spreading towards her fingers. So, as per her condition, Dr. Shah did the required changes in the medicine.
After two months of the treatment, when she visited at the center for her follow-up on 28th June 2017, there was 50% improvement observed in her Psoriatic spots. The scaling was reduced drastically. No new spots had appeared. Her itching and watery secretion had also reduced.
On 4th October 2017, when she gave her follow-up, her condition was 95% improved. Her eruptions had reappeared only after contact of caustic. All her symptoms were almost cured. So, she stopped the treatment.
After one year, when she visited again at Life Force center on 8th October 2018, she informed that some new eruptions had relapsed on her forearm for 2 months without any reason. As per her condition, Dr. Shah prescribed her research-based molecule.
She is still continuing the treatment for further recovery.
