A 30-years-old female from Uttar Pradesh, Mrs. P.B. (PIN: 45656) started homeopathic treatment through the online protocol in June 2021 for her complaint of Lichen planus.
She was suffering from this skin condition for 4 years. The lesions were present on her entire body, including her hands, legs, back, chest, and genitals. Her skin lesions were pinkish and brownish. She was experiencing very severe and intense itching in it. She had taken steroid treatment for a few months before 1 year but it didn’t heal her.
Physical Generals:
The patient had an increased appetite. She loved eating sweets in her diet. Her thirst for water was sufficient. She had no issues related to the urine and stool. Her sleep was disturbed at times.
Psychological and Family Make-Up:
The patient was a housewife. Her husband was doing a job. By nature, she was often sad and depressed. She was very sensitive and she often cried very easily.
Self and Family’s Medical History:
She had no major illness in the past nor did her family was having any medical history of any major ailment.
At Life Force:
After studying the case in detail, Dr. Shah prescribed some research-based homeopathic medicines along with some dietary tips to the patient.
Follow-Ups:
On 25th August 2021, the patient reported that there was no major change with the medicines. There was no change in her lesions. The itching had increased in the last few days. No new lesions had appeared, and the old lesions were as it is. There was no change in it. Based on this feedback, Dr. Shah prescribed revised medicines to the patient.
On 20th October 2021, the patient reported that there was a mild improvement noticed with the medicines. The spots of lichen planus were reducing in shape and size gradually. On 20th December 2021, the patient reported that she is further better with medicines. She was almost 50% better since starting the treatment. Minimal itching on the skin was present now. Active lesions were reduced and getting flat now. Hyperpigmented marks were observed more on her skin. The spread of disease was completely under control now. The patient had experienced an overall recovery with the homeopathic medicines.
On 1st February 2022, the patient was reported further healing with the medicines. She was almost 90% better with the medicines now. The active lesions had subsided with the homeopathic medicines. The itching was no longer present. No new lesions had appeared. The disease was completely under control. Hyperpigmented marks were also fading now.
