Her complaints used to increase on change of weather as along with husband she used to travel as per his postings.
She had associated complaints of bronchitis and migraine for which she used to take conventional treatment. She also had irregular menses with the average flow.
Her mother suffered from ischemic heart disease and her maternal grandmother was asthmatic.
She was tall; flabby in physique. She would like to have nonvegetarian and spicy food. She had increased appetite and adequate thirst.
She would perspire profusely on the scalp and be very sensitive to hot climate.
She was a homemaker and her husband was an army officer, who used to be off station very often. She had two schools going children; aged six and twelve years.
She was depressed because she used to stay away from her husband due to his postings. She would be in a state of stress and fear whenever her husband used to be in the field posting. She would cry a lot whenever she got angry.
During her childhood, she had complaints of bed wetting. Due to this issue, her parents used to scold and beat her.
With all these case details, her case was analyzed by Dr. Shah and he prescribed his research-based medicines along with constitutional medicine.
On 29th April 2015, she reported that the spreading was under control. She started to get itching on new locations such as palms and lower abdomen. She has explained that it is a common phenomenon to get itching on new locations during the course of treatment but these lesions subside early.
On 27th June 2015, after taking two months of medicine she reported that eruptions on her legs, thighs, hands, and underarms were stopped spreading further. Her itching had remained the same.
On 28th August 2015, she reported that there was ten percent improvement in her Lichen Planus. The spread of eruptions was completely stopped. Further, she reported that itching in the affected area was also under control. But boils were still there with occasional oozing of discharge. She was worried about boils.
In the follow up reported on 29th October 2015, there was no spreading of eruptions at all. The itching was reduced by fifty percent. Oozing from the boils had also reduced. Sometimes she noticed redness on some boils and itching once in a while.
Again with the next two months of medication, there was a drastic change in her Lichen Planus. She reported that there were no new eruptions; there was no spread of existing eruptions either. She got complete relief from itching. She said that she is not getting boils anymore on the margins of eruptions. Only hyperpigmented spots were present on affected parts which had started to fade off. So within one year’s treatment, she got eighty percent improvement.
The patient was overwhelmed with happiness. She is still continuing the medicines with Lifeforce for her hyper-pigmented spots and for complete control of Lichen Planus.
Homeopathy does not treat superficially by just driving away the symptoms but heals the patient from within. During the treatment, new eruptions may appear which are common phenomena and are easily controlled by medicines. Undoubtedly, Homeopathy is the medicine of future.
