20-years-old male patient (PIN: 25851) approached Life Force with complaints of psoriasis from which he was suffering since past 4 years. He started online treatment with Dr. Rajesh Shah on 1st June 2015. He was suffering from psoriasis since 4 years and had 7-8 scattered spots with itching, scaling, redness that used to turn worse after bathing and in the winter season. In general, his skin was very dry. His complaints used to get worse during the winter and in monsoon. He had tried all forms of treatment, including local steroids, but had not been benefited by any of them. He took conventional treatment on & off with no relief in his complaints.
There is no medical history of such disease in his family. Also, he had not suffered from any major illness in the past. Besides this, he was suffering from the complaint of boils. He is non-vegetarian having a specific craving for salty things. He experiences profuse perspiration with offensive smell. Thermally, he is chilly having sound sleep with no specific dreams. He is a 12th std student, and his father is doing service in a private company. He does not suffer from any major stress. He has good relations with family members. He is calm by nature and likes to make many new friends.
Based on the above history, Dr. Rajesh Shah prescribed his research based molecules.
After 2 months on 4th August 2015, patient reported that his scaling, redness, & itching were reduced by 50-60%.
In month of November 2015, his complaints became worse so he visited the clinic. In spite of following the treatment, his complaints were getting worse. It was explained to the patient that his complaints turned worse because of post-steroidal withdrawal effect and also due to the winter season, when the complaints of many psoriasis patients flare up. He was informed that an increase in the psoriasis was expected due to the stoppage of the steroids that he had been using previously. This phenomenon is observed in many skin conditions where the patient experiences an increase in the skin lesions due to the stoppage of steroids since their action is suppressive in nature.
On 19th February 2016, his relief from psoriasis was again better by 50-60%. Thereafter, there was persistent improvement in his relief from complaints. In the next 3 months itself, his relief from psoriasis was more than 75% better than before. His itching almost vanished, and he was not developing any new eruptions either.
In July 2016, the relief from Psoriasis was almost 95% better.
At the end of another few months i.e. on 11th April 2017, he reported almost more than 95% improvement in the relief from all his complaints of redness, scaling, and itching. His has returned to an almost normal state, and he is leading a normal life.
