A 60-year-old lady, Mrs. K. D. (PIN: 25749) consulted at Life Force for her treatment for lichen planus on 21st May 2015 at Chembur. She was having hypertrophic black lesions on her legs bilaterally and both the hands along with itching for 7 to 8 years. Her disease was progressing for the last 3-4 years. Her complaints used to turn worse in the summer. She was taking steroids and anti-histamines on and off from the last one year. Besides this, she was also suffering from an underactive thyroid and osteoarthritis.
She was average in stature. She was a vegetarian, and her appetite was good. She had a craving for rice and aversion to bread. Her thirst and perspiration were average. She was a chilly patient. She had regular bowel movements and no urinary complaints.
She was having a logistics business. She was confident and fastidious by nature. She was very strong and had very good-decision making skills. Her memory was very good.
In her family, her father had throat cancer, mother had high cholesterol, sister was having oral cancer, and brother had high cholesterol. She didn't have any major illness in the past.
Dr. Shah studied the case in detail and prescribed his research-based molecules to the patient and advised a few blood tests.
Follow-Ups:
On 1st July 2015, when she gave her first follow-up, her recovery from the old spots got better but, at the same time, she also got some new eruption due to the stoppage of steroid medicines. Dr. Shah re-evaluated the case and prescribed his research-based medicines.
After a few months, when she gave follow-up on 15th December 2015, her relief from the complaints was better by 20%. Her old spots had healed and dried up. No new spots were observed. Her relief from the knee pain was also better along with it.
A few months later on 27th June 2016, when she visited Life Force, her condition was stable. Neither a new eruption had appeared nor any major improvement was observed in the old lesions. Dr. Shah again studied the case in detail and prescribed the medicines to the patient.
A few months later on 27th October 2016, she was better by almost 50%. Her old spots had flattened, and some of the spots had healed completely with just pigmentation marks left. She was no more experiencing itching.
After a few months on 9th March 2018, her recovery from the lichen planus was improved by 75%. Just pigmentation was left on the old spots with no itching. No new spots had appeared.
On 18th February 2019, her recovery from lichen planus was improved by 80% to 90%. Her pigmentation marks were also fading gradually.
The patient was very happy with the results and said, “People used to say that there was no treatment for Lichen Planus. Now I will challenge them and show them my results how I found a cure for Lichen Planus in homeopathy.”.
Conclusion:
This case highlights that homeopathy is highly effective in treating lichen planus incredibly and safely without any side-effects.
