A 29-years-old patient, Mr. S.S. (PIN 15079) reported to the center for the treatment of cervical spondylitis and anxiety.
He was suffering from neck pain and stiffness since the past two years. He was experiencing tingling sensation and numbness in his hands. He had mentioned the presence of pain towards his chest also. He also complained of tingling sensation and numbness in his legs.
His pain was severe when he worked on the computer. At one point, he was advised traction and steroids. He took steroids for a week, but he developed acne, aphthous ulcers, and severe acidity as the side-effects of steroids. So, he had to stop them.
He would take painkillers and anti-spasmodic medicines, but that would give rise to acidity.
He eventually developed pain in the abdomen and acidity. He also suffered from symptoms of anxiety. When he would be anxious and stressed, he would get pain in the abdomen, nausea, and discomfort in the chest. The painkillers would aggravate the symptoms of acidity and nausea, and eventually lead to more anxiety. Thus, the patient was trapped in a vicious cycle. Finally, he was referred to Dr. Rajesh Shah, by his colleagues in the BARC. His case details were studied in detail.
He belonged to a poor village in UP. His father was a primary school teacher. He was extremely interested in the studies, and he always dreamt to become an engineer. But, competing with the children in the city became a challenge for him.
He went to Delhi for higher education but became very stressed out due to the culture, his own humble financial background, and the problem of speaking English.
So, though he was sincere, he would face anxiety and depression. Later on, he took up a job to support his education. He worked as a sales representative for an agricultural firm. He had to promote his company’s brand in the rural villages, and he was very comfortable in this job, which gave him confidence and much needed money. He was an honest and hard-working person.
Gradually, he finished his education and got a job in Mumbai in the BARC. He was staying alone and had to eat outside food which made him suffer from a lot of acidity and anxiety.
Now, he was financially stable.
Dr. Shah consulted him and gave him suitable homeopathic medicines.
Within four months of the treatment, he got very good relief from all his symptoms. His neck pain had reduced, and his pain in the abdomen too was reduced. Also, his symptoms of acidity had reduced to a great extent. Besides this, his anxiety reduced considerably. He did not require pain-killers or antacids anymore.
In four months of the treatment, he got very good relief from all the symptoms related to cervical spondylitis, anxiety, and acidity.
He was very happy with his progress. He did not have words to express his gratitude to Dr. Shah. He is now a firm believer in the powers of homeopathy.
Conclusion:
This case study highlights that homeopathy is highly effective in treating anxiety neurosis and many other health issues successfully and safely without any side-effects.
