A 56 year old female patient Mrs. S.A. (Patient Identification Number 11968) visited Life Force on 1st April 2009 for the complaint of frequent Sinusitis. She was suffering from last one to two years. She would get severe cold with throat pain, ear blockage and nose block. There used to be severe pain on frontal and maxillary regions. She would get these complaints once or twice a month, lasting for 10-15 days. Drinking warm water or drinks would increase her complaints. She would take conventional medicines during the acute episodes which were helping her temporarily.

There was associated complaint of pain in both knee joints and back. This complaint was there for 2-3 years. She had history of operation for appendicitis.

She was having average appetite with strong craving for non veg and sour food items. Perspiration, bowel habits and urination were normal. She was hot patient with marked aggravation from heat. Her sleep was sound with dreams of routine life.

Mrs. S. A. was home maker and would stay with husband and two daughters. She would like to keep herself busy. She was extrovert and would like to make relations. She was undergoing some stress related to daughter’s marriage.

Considering the case history, Dr. Rajesh Shah prescribed research based homeopathic medicine. In first two months, frequency of complaints was reduced to once a month and complaints lasted for 6-8 days. There was no much improvement in the intensity of the complaints. She did not require conventional medicines that time.

Within next 2 months, she had Sinusitis complaint only once. That time intensity of complaints was reduced. Throat pain and pain over frontal and maxillary regions was reduced. She showed improvement in all her further follow ups. By 5th November 2009, she was completely recovered from her Sinusitis.
