A 27 year old female, Mrs. C D (PIN 3712), visited Life Force on 12 Feb, 2001, for the complaints of Migraine and Asthma. She presented with attack of asthma two to three times in a week since her childhood. Her asthma attacks were more during winter season. She also used to suffer acute attacks of recurrent colds, every three months, which used to last for eight to ten days. She would always require a long course of antibiotics and she was on regular use of bronchodilator in the form of inhalers once in a day.

She had a strong family history of asthma and other auto immune disease like diabetes.

Her asthma used to get worse after having outside food and with the onset of acute respiratory tract infections. During the acute attacks she used to get throat pain, sneezing with thick yellowish white nasal discharge, and severe cough with expectoration along with difficult expectoration.

She also used to get recurrent attacks of migraine, which was of hammering, beating type associated with general weakness, since one year, which used to increase after stress and due to inadequate sleep. She would get such episodes 3 to 4 times in a week, and for almost 2 to 3 hours duration.

On examination, her chest was found to have moist sounds (crepitations) suggestive of lung congestion. She was investigated for blood profile and X-Ray of chest. She was diagnosed as a case of Bronchial Asthma by Dr. Rajesh Shah.

She was a cheerful and active person; she used to get easily irritated by contradiction as well as on small matters. She would have flushing on face during anger and excitement. She was also going under financial stress in her life. She observed to have strong will power, sense of self-respect and self-confidence.

Dr Rajesh Shah studied her case in detail and prescribed her Ferrum met 200c, in suitable repetition. She was under treatment at Life Force for about 2 years with regular follow-up, slowly but steadily her complaints improved.

Under Dr. Shah’s treatment her need for bronchodilators and antibiotics reduced. She reported on 12th March, 2003, stating that she was completely free from asthma and she was disease free even during the winter. Her complaints of Migraine also reduced to the point to being negligible. Dr Shah advised her to stop the treatment.

Now after 10 long years on 25 July 2011 she again visited Life Force for treatment of her relative, she mentioned Asthma and Migraine as her past medical history.
