Case Study
A 54-year-old lady (PIN: 46899) approached Life Force’s Jayanagar Branch on 7th December 2021 for the treatment of her complaints of Oral Lichen Planus, which she was suffering from for 2 years. Her main presenting symptoms were purplish-blue lesions on her tongue (tip, center, and sides of tongue) and inner cheeks. She was experiencing burning pain in her lesions, particularly while eating hot spicy food.
Her family history was asked about and updated. Her father was suffering from diabetes, and her sister was suffering from lichen planus.
Her history was also asked. She had an episode of Chikungunya 5 years back. Her past and current treatment history was also asked about and updated for future reference.
