90% relief in chronic polyarthralgia with homeopathy!

A 36-year-old old male (patient identification number: 45223) from Patna enquired on the 25th Feb 2024 for treatment for pain in multiple joints. The complaints started around 2009 affecting the lower back and hand which was triggered after lifting a heavy gas cylinder. Gradually, he had lost 70% ability to lift objects, and recently, pain had progressed to both the knee joints, ankle joints, elbow joints, feet, finger joints, and wrist joints, restricting his daily activities. He had taken conventional treatment in the past which included corticosteroids, immunosuppressants, painkillers, and injections, but had stopped in 2012 as no significant improvement was noted.

Past History :

He had suffered from chickenpox in the year 2000. Also, he was under our treatment for recurrent tonsillitis and otitis media and has recovered by 80% to the present.

Family History:

Although there was no significant history of any illness in the family, the patient mentioned his sister having seasonal allergic rhinitis.

Personal history and family setup:

The patient lives with his family, consisting of his parents, wife, and two daughters. He shared close bonds with his family and had cordial relations with all acquaintances. By nature, he was sensitive and was easily affected by trifles occurring in the family and used to get depressed for a while. He was a proprietor dealing with motor parts and was content with the business.

At Lifeforce :

Based on his entire case study, Dr. Shah prescribed homeopathic medicines for eight weeks. He was prescribed a few investigations and was also guided for dietary and lifestyle changes as well. He was advised to refrain from lifting heavy weights for a while till he recovers.

Follow-ups:

At the 1st follow-up on the 18th of April 2024, the patient mentioned he had constant pain in his lower back and hand. On enquiring further, he said he had again lifted a heavy gas cylinder, which increased his pain. He also said pain in the rest of the joints had reduced by 20%. Based on his feedback, he was again prescribed homeopathic medicines for two months by Dr. Shah.

Meanwhile, his reports were thoroughly evaluated and were taken into consideration while prescribing.

At the next follow-up on 14th June 2024, the patient mentioned there was significant relief from pain in all the joints including the lower back. Based on his feedback, he was again prescribed homeopathic medicines for two months by Dr. Shah.

On the 11th of August 2024, the patient had mild pain and stiffness in the left knee joint occurring when he stood for more than 20 minutes. The rest of the joint pains were further relieved by 30 to 40%.

During further follow-ups for four months, the patient had no major episodes of pain or stiffness. He was able to carry out his daily activities without any restrictions. Despite the cold weather in winter, he had no complaints of stiffness. As per his follow-ups, he was prescribed accordingly by Dr. Shah.

The patient followed all the advice given to him regarding lifestyle and dietary changes and was regular with follow-ups and medicines.

Conclusion:

This case shows the remarkable effects of homeopathic medicines given in chronic and severe, progressing complaints. Homeopathic medicines help to treat at the root level and control further progression when timely administered.  The effects are long-term and help avoid the need for conventional medications.
