Breaking the Urticaria Cycle With Homeopathy

Mr. A.A. (Patient ID: 54410), an 18-year-old male, first sought online consultation for his long-standing condition of urticaria, which he had been struggling with since 2018. His initial consultation was on April 24, 2024. At the time, he presented with frequent episodes of hives, accompanied by red blotches across his body, including bilateral hands, legs, abdomen, back, chest, and face. These episodes were linked to severe itching and burning sensations. He experienced urticaria episodes every alternate day, each lasting 5–6 hours, with the severity ranging from moderate to severe. During the worst episodes, he also experienced swelling of the lips, face, and eyes.

Heat exposure was identified as a primary trigger for these flare-ups.

During intense episodes (about 1–2 times a month), he required the use of Tab Levocet M to manage symptoms. He was especially concerned about how his urticaria could affect his future career aspirations, as he was preparing for pilot training.

On further investigation, Mr. A.A. reported a mixed diet, adequate daily water intake of 2-3 liters, and regular bowel movements, though his digestive system was unsatisfactory. He also had a regular sleep cycle and preferred sleeping on his left side. He lived in a nuclear family with his father, mother, and brother and had a happy and supportive childhood. Mental health-wise, he was described as mild, gentle, polite, shy, and non-communicative, with a strong attachment to his family.

After thoroughly analyzing his case, Dr. Shah prescribed Carcinosin 30 along with other supportive medicines.

With medicines guidance on dietary and lifestyle changes was also given to improve overall health.

Vitamin D3 supplement was also recommended based on investigations conducted on April 24, 2024.

Follow-ups:

  • 1st Follow-up (28.06.2024): Mr. A.A. reported significant improvement, with no further episodes of urticaria rash, itching, or swelling. He had not taken any conventional medication since beginning his treatment with Dr. Shah’s prescribed medicines.

  • 2nd Follow-up (03.09.2024): The patient confirmed that there had been no recurrence of urticaria in the past two months. He reported feeling much more confident in managing his condition.

  • 3rd Follow-up (16.11.2024): Mr. A.A. was completely stable, with no urticaria episodes or flare-ups, and was not relying on any conventional treatment.

  • Last Follow-up (02.01.2025): His condition remained stable, with no need for conventional treatments. He showed more than 90% improvement in managing his urticaria, marking a significant positive outcome.

Conclusion:

In conclusion, Mr. A.A.’s urticaria improved drastically, and he now enjoys a high level of health stability, free from the frequent and severe episodes he previously experienced.
