A Teenage From Australia Experienced Incredible Recovery From Chronic Eczema With Homeopathy

A 15-year-old boy from Australia, Mast. S.E. (PIN LFMPL: 27175) reported to the clinic with complaints of Eczema on his cubital Fossa (front side of elbow joint) and the popliteal fossa (behind knee joint) that he was experiencing since childhood, however, his complaints had aggravated after shifting to Australia from Malaysia. He was experiencing intense itching which led to bleeding from the eruptions. There had not been a complete remission of his complaints anytime. Eczema is aggravated by the spring season and particularly at night. He was treated with steroid ointments on and off with no complete relief anytime.

The appearance of the skin was very dry, rough, and purple-red. His complaints would turn worse in the hot weather change in climate, animal licks, sweating, and because of synthetic and polyester clothes. His complaints of itching and burning would turn better in the colder weather and on having a cold shower.

Physical Generals:

He had an average appetite. He had a marked aversion to fruits. He could not tolerate the heat. He was allergic to dairy foods, however, over time, it got better and currently was not allergic to dairy foods.

Self and Family’s Medical History:

Along with Eczema, he had been suffering from a nasal polyp, enlarged tonsils, and adenoids which made him suffer from frequent colds and coughs. He had a family history of allergies and eczema, as his older sister too suffered from allergies and eczema. His maternal grandfather suffered from liver cancer and his paternal grandfather died because of cancer.

Follow-Ups:

In January 2022, after 3 months of starting the treatment, his eczema was still dominant on the left forearm and the skin there was better by only 10%. However, his recovery from eczema in the rest parts of his body was a lot better. The eruptions on his legs, right arm, back, and neck had healed.

His symptomatology of itching and scaling was relieved to a large extent; the frequency of itch was increased but was not terrible as before.

After 8 months of homeopathic treatment, the eruptions on his arms, forearms, back of knees, neck, and back showed significant improvement by 90%. Only one small patch on the right arm was left, usually never itchy. The patient experienced itching only when he was anxious. Also, his relief from the complaints of frequent colds showed remarkable improvement.
