Chalazion Vanished Without Any Surgery with Homeopathy

A chalazion is a small swelling or lump on the eyelid. It may develop when something blocks a small oil gland in the eyelid.

Causes of chalazion include chronic blepharitis, seborrheic dermatitis, tuberculosis, rosacea, and viral infections.

Common symptoms of chalazion include a painless bump on the eyelid, mild irritation causing watering of eyes, and blurred vision.

Chalazion can be managed at home by doing warm compression and gentle massage.

Case Study

A 35-year-old patient (PIN: 47449) visited Life Force Homeopathy, Jayanagar Branch on 19th February 2022 for the treatment of his complaints of chalazion that he was suffering from for 1 month. He had one hard lump on the lower eyelid of both eyes. It was painless. He had no other symptoms associated with it.

His past and present treatment history were asked about and updated. His family history and history of ailments were also asked about and updated.

A detailed case history was taken including his mental and physical generals and it was updated in his case file.

Physical Generals:

He was a non-vegetarian and had an average appetite. He had cravings for eggs, chicken, and meat. His thirst for water was average and he drank

almost 2-3 liters of water daily. He experienced average perspiration and couldn’t tolerate extreme hot weather. His bowel movements were satisfactory, and he had no urinary symptoms. The patient enjoyed a sound sleep and had no recurrent dreams.

Psychological Make-Up:

The patient had a happy childhood with a supportive family. His married life was also satisfactory. He was a very mild, gentle, and shy kind of person. He had a very reserved character and had limited friends. By nature, he was calm. He liked traveling, watching movies, and sports. His intellectual sphere was also considered. His memory, logic, intelligence, and analysis all were good.

His general and systemic examination was also done and updated in the case file.

Follow-Ups: 

At the first follow-up on 16th April 2022, the size of the chalazion on the left eye had slightly reduced. And, the chalazion on his right eye had healed. 

On his second follow-up on 16th June 2022, the patient experienced almost a 90% improvement.

By 4th August 2022, his chalazion had vanished.
