Freedom from Inhalers How Homeopathy Helped Treat Allergic Bronchitis
Mr.R.M.W, a thirty-year-old software engineer resident of Kalyan, India, started online treatment with Life Force Homeopathy (Patient ID: 43946) for allergic bronchitis on 22 Feb 2024. He was an existing patient taking treatment for lichen planus. He was diagnosed with allergic bronchopulmonary aspergillosis in Sep 2023, and it had started with dry continuous bouts of cough flares during speaking and lying down, which occurred daily in 2 to 3 episodes since September 2023. The episodes lasted for 10 minutes, which subsided with an inhaler. The severity of episodes was moderate, and he faced difficulty in breathing; he used to get nose blocks alternate days in 15–20 days; earlier in December, it was daily. He had one severe episode in December with cough and breathlessness and was admitted to the hospital.
Family History: His father had asthma.
Medication taken:
Tablet. Wysolone 10 mg taken from 09.01.24 till 20.02.24
Since December 23, I have been taking tab Itraconazole 200 mg 1tab BD (The doctor advised taking till March 24.)
Inhaler Esiflo 250 mcg (Salmeterol and Fluticasone Propionate) TDS daily since September 2023.
Investigation:
Serum immunoglobulin E (S.IgE) (16.12.23): 1897.0 High
Aspergillus fumigatus specific: allergen 0.66 High
- X-Ray chest (07.09.23)
mildly prominent broncho vascular markings are seen in both lung fields
- Bilateral hilar congestion noted
- CT Scan Chest (15.12.23)
-A few small calcified subpleural lung nodules are detected in the right upper lobe lateral segment of the right
middle lobe and anterior lower lobe of the lung. Thin fibrotic bands are detected in the inferior lingula. These
appear old infective sequelae
- mild/patchy areas of expiratory air trapping are detected in bilateral lower lobes of the lung, suggestive of ild small airway disease
- No other significant abnormality is detected in the chest.
At Life Force Homeopathy, the case was studied by Dr Rajesh Shah and medication was prescribed to address the underlying factors contributing
to the condition initially presented with symptoms of allergic bronchitis, which included frequent episodes of coughing, breathlessness, and chest
congestion, and nasal block. These symptoms were intense and recurrent, often leading to a dependency on conventional medications.
including inhalers and other respiratory treatments.
Diet and blood investigations were suggested, and follow-ups were taken regularly.
Follow-Up:
First Follow-Up (12.04.24): There was a significant improvement, with the patient reporting a 60% reduction in symptoms. The cough''s
intensity and frequency had reduced considerably, and he no longer experienced breathing difficulties; he stopped taking all conventional
medications, including the inhaler, for the past month.
Second Follow-Up (24.05.24): The patient reported an even more marked improvement. There were no episodes of coughing or
breathlessness, and felt significantly better overall.
Third Follow-Up (21.08.24): His condition remained stable with continued improvement. There were still no episodes of cough, breathlessness, or chest congestion.
Fourth Follow-Up (13.11.24): His health had greatly improved and sustained remission, with no major episodes in the last month. The patient reported complete relief from cough, breathlessness, chest congestion, and nasal blockage for several months. Moreover, the patient had not been on any form of conventional medication, inhalers, or other drugs.
Fifth Follow-Up (09.01.25): Near Complete Recovery reported being 80% better, with only one mild episode of cough and cold lasting for five days. There were no episodes of breathlessness, chest congestion, or significant respiratory issues. He took conventional medication for just five days during the episode of cold but did not require an inhaler.
Conclusion:
The case study demonstrates the positive outcomes of Life Force Homeopathic treatment in the management of allergic bronchitis. Over several months, the patient experienced significant and sustained improvement, with no major episodes of cough, breathlessness, or chest congestion. He also successfully weaned himself off conventional medication, including inhalers, and remained symptom-free for prolonged periods.
