Herpes Simplex Treated Successfully with Homeopathy at Life Force
The herpes simplex virus, also known as HSV, is a viral infection that causes genital and oral herpes. An estimated 491 million people aged 15–49 (13%) worldwide have HSV-2 infection. Most HSV infections are asymptomatic, but symptoms of herpes include painful blisters or ulcers that can recur over time. Infection with HSV-2 increases the risk of acquiring and transmitting HIV infection.
A 39-year-old male patient, Mr. S. B. visited the Chembur clinic of Life Force on 13th March 2019 (PIN: 39351) with complaints of eruptions over the lips, extreme sensitivity over the foreskin and glans penis, inflammation over the glans penis with mild eruptions, and burning around the penis.
He was taking
1) Tab Hifen (antibiotic) 200 for 1 week stopped since 1 week
2) Tab acyclovir 400 1 TDS for 7 days stopped for 1 week.
Associated Disease: He had associated disease conditions of headache and joint pain.

At Life Force Homeopathy, a detailed case-taking was done and, after studying the case thoroughly, Dr. Rajesh Shah prescribed medication to the patient. The blood investigation was done and certain dietic changes were advised.
Follow-Ups:
On 14th May 2019, the patient was stable for 10 days. The eruptions over the lip, burning, and pain in the genital region persisted. A/F: not known
On the follow-up on 2nd December 2019, the patient was 50% better. The disease condition was under control. The pain and burning sensation over the glans penis and foreskin had reduced. The extreme sensitivity of the foreskin had reduced.
On the follow-up on 12th May 2020, the patient’s relief from the lip swelling was better. No spread of the condition had occurred in the last week. Only some increase in pain and burning sensation with sensitivity of the penis was present. No eruption had developed. A/F may be after intercourse
Later, on the follow-up on 2nd November 2020, a new small eruption with burning and itching was present on the genitals. For 1 month, A/F was not present. The scaling of lesions and swelling were present.
On the follow-up on 27th February 2021, the patient’s healing was better at the shaft of the penis. Only mild swelling around the testes was there. Inguinal hernia was there. His recovery from the eruptions was better on his lips.
Later, on the follow-up on 5th August 2021, the patient was 90% better. No eruption was there. Merely mild burning and scaling on the penis were there in the last 2-3 days after going to Nepal.
Since no recurrence of symptoms had occurred, his treatment was stopped.

Conclusion:
This case illustrates that Life Force Homeopathy treats chronic cases of herpes simplex by reducing the dependency on antibiotics and conventional medicines by controlling the spread of the disease along with offering symptomatic relief to the patient.
