Homeopathy Restores Comfort to a Young Boy with Chronic Urticaria
The body's allergic response to any allergen is Urticaria. Hives appear on the body with redness, itching, burning, and discomfort if a person is allergic to anything, including certain foods, hot or cold temperatures, pressure, medications, stress, etc. The patient's everyday routine may be disrupted by Urticaria. This case study demonstrates the quick and great results of homeopathy in treating chronic Urticaria. While antihistamine tablets can provide temporary relief, more often than not, the effects are short-lived and require the use of antihistamines frequently.
This is a case study of Master A.C., an eleven-year-old boy (Patient ID: 55674) who came to the Life Force Homeopathy Vashi branch on September 22, 2024, with a chronic Urticaria complaint that had been bothering him for two years. All over his body, he would develop hives that were extremely itchy, red, and burning. He experienced an episode of Urticaria roughly every two months. He had taken steroid tablets like prednisolone and medications like antihistamines. Although he received the result temporarily, it was not maintained over an extended period. This illness interfered with his studies. Thus, at Life Force, his parents decided to start him with homeopathic treatment.
Personal details:
During the case details, the patient informed us that he was non-vegetarian and was fond of sweets and lassi, but he didn't like bitter-guard and ketchup. His bowel movements and micturition were normal, and his sleep was good. He was studying in class 6th. His father was an engineer, and his mother was working in HR. He was a bright, nervous child. He was afraid of the dark and ghosts.
Past and Family history of disease:
At age five, the patient developed meningitis. His grandmother has cardiomyopathy, his father has allergic rhinitis, and his paternal grandfather has hypertension.
His case was studied by Dr. Rajesh Shah who prescribed him CARCINOSIN 30 in two doses along with his research-based medication based on the severity of his symptoms. The patient received advice regarding a particular diet and certain blood tests.
The patient did the blood investigations to rule out vitamin deficiencies and if any hormonal imbalances. Since he was vitamin D deficient he was suggested to take the supplement.
Follow-ups:
On November 8, he provided his first feedback following five weeks of medication. During that time, he did not experience any hive formation episodes. After beginning homeopathic medicine, he stopped taking all conventional medications. He took vitamins and homeopathic medicines regularly. He complies with the recommended diet and other guidelines. He was prescribed medication for the next six weeks based on his symptoms.
He provided feedback on December 19, 2024, stating that he had not experienced any hive episodes since beginning homeopathic medicine. He had experienced Urticaria episodes every two months in the past, but he was too exhausted to take traditional medications. He hasn't had any episodes in the past three months and has only been taking homeopathic medicines. His parents were content with their child's happiness and freedom from antihistamines and steroids. The following set of medications was prescribed to him.
Conclusion:
Given that the duration of the effects of medicines depends on the severity, chronicity, and numerous other factors, this case shows that homeopathy is not a slow-acting medication. Homeopathy is a well-established science that improves our internal systems and immunity to provide a long-term, healthy recovery free of side effects. Therefore, homeopathy is highly recommended for Urticaria.
