Lasting Relief from Bronchitis without Antibiotics, Inhalers, or Cough Syrups
Mrs L.F aged 57 years, started experiencing symptoms of breathlessness, wheezing, and coughs approximately one year ago. Initially, the symptoms were quite mild however over time the symptoms became more troublesome. She complained of persistent cough, and chest tightness which would worsen with exertion, and greenish-yellow, sticky mucus was present with difficulty to expel, causing discomfort. She began to feel a persistent itch in her throat, with the sensation of a plug leading to frequent hawking. She experienced a sensation of "breathing through clothes", describing the difficulty and suffocation of breathing. The tightness and congestion in the chest became unbearable, causing her to seek other options apart from her routine allopathic medicines. This was the time she approached us for the treatment since despite taking antibiotics, cough syrups, and inhalers slowly her condition was getting worse. On 9th February 2024, the patient visited the Life Force Homoeopathy Vashi branch (Patient ID: 53706), she appeared distressed and exhausted. She explained her symptoms in detail, emphasizing the worsening of her condition over the past week. She expressed her frustration with the incapacity to expel mucus and repented of the persistent constriction in her chest.
Her cough would get worse at night causing difficulty in sleeping. It is common to notice cough getting aggravated at night because when one lies down, mucus from the sinuses drips down the back of the throat which triggers more phlegm production. For 10 years she suffered from sleep issues and disturbed sleep, and the quality of her sleep was reduced. The respiratory complaints contributed to her sleeplessness. Sometimes she felt dizzy during the daytime because of fewer hours of sleep.
Physical examination:
Chest examination: Wheezing was noticed on the bilateral upper lobe of the lungs.

Follow-ups:
During her first follow-up on 26th March 2024, the patient was better by 20-25%. The breathlessness was reduced, there was no wheezing, and the plug sensation in the throat was improved.
During her second follow-up on 20th June 2024, the patient was better by 40%, there was no episode of breathlessness for almost 5 weeks when she saw us for follow-up. Her cough had reduced significantly she didn’t complain of tightness in her chest.
During her third follow-up on 30 July 2024, the patient was better by 70%. There was no breathlessness, no wheezing, no chest congestion, mild expectoration, and cough was present however the intensity of the cough was much better and she was solely on homeopathic treatment, there was no need to take an inhaler, bronchodilators, antibiotics, and cough syrup.
The last follow-up was taken on 12th September 2024; her condition remained stable with no major episode of bronchitis.
Conclusion:
This case shows the efficacy of Homoeopathic treatment in chronic and stubborn diseases like Bronchitis safely without any side effects. The frequency, duration, and intensity of her complaints were reduced and importantly reliance on antibiotics and other medication was curtailed. The results remained sustained; the stability of her condition months after treatment initiation underscored the durability of the results.
