Blood investigations were carried out, and some deficiency was found so supplements were suggested and dietary recommendations were provided.
Follow-Up Summary:
By 29th August 2022 in his first follow-up, he showed positive changes, and the white lacy lesion was reduced. He experienced slight irritation and pain at angle upper and lower gums. As per the case need the necessary changes were made in the prescription and the medicines were prescribed for the next 2 months.
On 30th October 2022, he was further better and also he had stopped using steroids. Without steroids, he was able to manage only with Homeopathy. He mentioned a new lesion in the oral cavity, the probable cause may be the intake of amla, however, amla doesn’t seem to cause any Oral LP lesions, but a note of the same was made.
By 23rd December 2022, no new lesions were noticed, but the buccal mucosa irritation and the old lesions persisted. His case was revaluated and the new medicines were sent across.
In April 2023, he was 65% better, further improvement was noticed; mild spicy food does not cause any burning, and mild irritation was occasional.
He continued to improve. With the next 8 months of Homeopathic treatment, his oral lichen planus steadily improved.
By 10th March 2024, his condition was 90% improved. Occasionally he experienced mild burning pain after eating spicy food and he was able to eat mild spicy food.
