Phenomenal Healing Of A Lichen Planus Patient With Homeopathy
Lichen Planus:
Lichen Planus is an inflammatory condition affecting the skin and mucus membrane. It results when the immune system mistakenly attacks the skin or mucus membrane leading to red purplish, inflamed, and fluid-filled lesions on the skin. It may also cause white lacy lesions or, at times, painful sores affecting the mucous membrane.
There are different types of Lichen Planus:
- Cutaneous Lichen Planus that affects the skin.
- Oral Lichen Planus that affects the oral cavity.
- Vulval/Penile Lichen Planus that affects the genital area.
- Lichen planopilaris affecting the scalp.
- Nail Lichen Planus.
- Lichen Planus Pigmentosa that affects the skin but only pigmentation is there without inflammation.
Here is a case study of Lichen Planus, which is in remission completely now with Homeopathy:
A 25-year-old female patient, Mrs. S.P. (PIN: 41447), visited Life Force Homeopathy with complaints of Lichen Planus on 11th October 2019.
She had multiple lesions on both legs, both forearms, and her waist for three years. She was experiencing intense itching on the lesions and bleeding on scratching. The itching was more at night.
Physical Generals:
The patient was a vegetarian and had a craving for salty and spicy food. She did not perspire a lot and could not tolerate both the heat and cold. Her sleep was disturbed due to itching.
Psychological Make-Up:
The patient was very mild, gentle, submissive, and introverted and was answering monosyllables. She doesn't talk when angry.
At Life Force:
After a detailed case taking Dr. Shah prescribed research-based medicines for Lichen Planus to the patient. She was advised to avoid gluten, milk, and milk products.
Follow-Ups:
At the first follow-up on 28th December 2019, the patient said that a few new lesions had appeared on her hands and feet. The itching had increased.
On the follow-up on 8th February 2020, she said that the eruptions and itching had reduced.
At the patient’s follow-up on 27th August 2020, no new lesions were developing. There was no itching nor spread of the disease.
On 27th October 2020, when the patient gave a follow-up, she told us she was experiencing 90% relief. No new lesions had developed, and the old lesions were 90% better. She no longer suffered itching.
On 23rd February 2021, the patient reported two small, new lesions on the left hand for the last 8-10 days due to the change in environment.
At the follow-up on 16th June 2021, the patient said she had no complaints, no active lesions, no itching, and no eruptions. Only pigmentation was left.
On the patient’s follow-up on 31st January 2022, she said that she was experiencing dryness of the skin which caused mild itching, but she was experiencing relief from the hyperpigmentation as the spots were fading.
On 1st June 2022, the patient said she no longer suffered from itching. Also, she had no lesions, and the pigmentation was also fading.
Now, she doesn’t have any lesions for many months. Lichen Planus was in remission. Also, the pigmentation was fading slowly.
The patient is very happy with the treatment she received at Life Force.
Conclusion:
This case highlights that homeopathy is very safe and effective in treating autoimmune diseases like Lichen Planus.
