Case Study
A 12-year-old child patient, Mast. N. P. (PIN: 48600) visited the Life Force Homoeopathy clinic on 7th July 2022 for the treatment of his progressive Atopic dermatitis. He presented with symptoms such as intense itching on the legs and arms, near the elbow and popliteal fossa, nape of the neck, and abdomen near the waistline for 4 years. Intense itching was noticed during the winter and rainy seasons. He used to turn better after the use of conventional medication Flutibact (anti-bacterial) ointment once a day during 1-2 months every year.
He also experienced a runny nose and sneezing after the morning shower even though the hot water was used once a year for 1-2 months. He would take Xyzal (anti-allergic syrup) once a day during that period and found relief.
Family Medical History:
The patient’s father had allergic rhinitis.
Physical Generals:
The child was lean and a thermally hot patient. He was a pure vegetarian and had an average appetite. He craved chocolate and had an aversion to vegetables. His thirst was adequate and he would drink 1-2 liters per day. His bowel movements and micturition were normal. He enjoyed a refreshing sleep.
Self and Family Set-Up:
He lived in a nuclear family comprising four. The patient was studying in the 7th class. His father was a businessman, and his mother was a homemaker. He had an elder brother studying in 9th Std.
Constitution:
On enquiring about his nature, the child’s mother reported that the patient was happy child and expressive. He was active in sports and good at studies. He wanted to be with friends.
At Life Force:
