Phenomenal Relief from Chronic ILD Requiring Oxygen Support in Short Span with Homeopathy at Life Force
Interstitial lung disease (ILD) is a term used for a large group of diseases that cause scarring (fibrosis) of the lungs. The prevalence of existing cases of the condition is about 100 per 100,000. So, there are about 50,000 diagnosed and well over 100,000 patients who have some form of interstitial lung disease.
Symptoms of ILD:
Signs and symptoms of this condition include shortness of breath and a dry cough. Lung damage resulting due to ILD is often irreversible.
Interstitial Lung Disease Causes:
Long-term exposure to hazardous materials, such as asbestos or coal dust, can be due to an autoimmune disease such as rheumatoid arthritis.
The son of a 74-year-old female Mrs. A. B. (PIN: 49114) called Vashi clinic inquiring about ILD. His mother was diagnosed with ILD in 2016. After discussing the case with the associate doctor at Life Force, her homeopathy treatment was started following the online protocol on 1st September 2022. The main complaints of the patient were shortness of breath, inability to speak for more than 10 minutes, a dry cough, sometimes whitish sputum, and frequency of breathlessness was daily (oxygen saturation used to fall). She was on oxygen daily for the last 1 month only with a gap of half an hour without oxygen. She had no pain in the joints, no fever, no history of smoking, tiredness, and no strength to move. She was recently admitted to the hospital due to severe episodes of breathlessness.
Medical Reports:
1)PFT done in 2019 said verbally - 55% lung function.
2)HRCT CHEST on 7th January 2016 revealed
- diffuse interlobular septal thickening is seen in the bilateral lung field predominantly in the bilateral lower lobes with traction bronchiectasis.
- a few areas of honeycombing are seen in the bilateral lower lobes with traction bronchiectasis.
- a few calcified mediastinal lymph nodes are seen in the subcarinal, paratracheal right hilar regions, the largest of size 1.3*0.9cms
-findings are suggestive of early changes in interstitial pneumonia.
Present Medication:
Since 22nd August 2022, the patient was on the following medications:

Follow-Ups:
On the follow-up on 6th October 2022, the patient experienced a 35% improvement in oxygen saturation level. She needed an oxygen mask in the afternoon and at night time only. Her relief from the weakness was better.
At the follow-up on 16th November 2022, the patient was 50% better. She used an oxygen mask only at night. She had stopped using an inhaler. She felt tired when travelling to Bangalore. She had to use an oxygen mask during the daytime and also used an inhaler for 5 days.
At the follow-up on 25th December 2022, the patient was better. She used the oxygen mask only at night. She did not use an inhaler now. She no longer had any episodes of breathlessness. A wet cough occasionally occurred.
On the follow-up on 4th February 2023, the patient had no episodes of breathlessness. She had no wet cough. Her blood reports showed vitamin B12 deficiency and iron deficiency. So, she was started with supplements of the necessary vitamins and minerals. Her weakness and tiredness had reduced a lot.
On the follow-up on 4th February 2023, her oxygen saturation levels were 85% to 90%. She used no oxygen support for a maximum number of days. She had no episodes of breathlessness.
