The intense pain of Ankylosing spondylitis got better with Homoeopathy

A 38-year-old male, Mr. H.D (Patient ID:44318) started online treatment from LifeForce Homeopathy for the complaint of Ankylosing spondylitis on 10th December 2020.   

He has been suffering from it for 9 months. The pain was increasing day by day. The patient had pain and stiffness mostly in his lower back and neck. The pain was very intense. There was difficulty in walking. His movements were restricted. The patient was unable to do his day-to-day activities because of pain and stiffness. The patient was taking painkillers and other conventional medicines but the pain was still very intense. 
Physical generals:

The patient had an average appetite. There was a specific craving for sweets and non-vegetarian food. His thirst was average. There were no issues with urine and stool. Sleep was often disturbed due to severe pain. 

Personal details:

He was self-employed. He was staying with his wife and parents. The patient was always sad and stressed about his illness. He was very mild and introvert by nature.
He never had any major past illnesses. His family also did not have any major diseases.

After studying the case in detail, Dr Shah prescribed him some research-based homeopathic medicines. 

Follow-ups:

On 6th February 2021, in the first follow-up, the patient reported that he was almost 15% better with the medicines. The intensity of pain was slightly better than before. The stiffness was reduced and so the restriction of movement was less. The patient noticed overall improvement.

On 20th March 2022, the patient reported that he is almost 60-70% better with the medicines but in the last 1 month, his pain has increased. The pain episodes were very much reduced but again in the last few days, he was feeling more pain and stiffness. On further history, it was found that the patient had exerted himself riding a bike for long hours which had triggered his pain. Based on this feedback, Dr.Shah prescribed him further medicines. 

On 5th February 2023, the patient reported that he was feeling a reduction in the intensity of pain. The progress of improvement was very slow but he was getting better. The pain and stiffness were still there but it was less intense than before. He still had to take allopathic medicines along with our medicines. There was gradual progress seen with the medicines. 

On 20th February 2024, the patient reported to be further better with the medicines. His pain and stiffness were further reduced. He was able to move freely and do his day-to-day activities normally. There was overall improvement with the medicines.

On 7th November 2024, the patient was updated to be 60-70% better now. The pain was very minimal. Stiffness was very much reduced than before. There was overall improvement with the medicines. The patient was very happy with the results.
