A 74-year-old male patient (PIN: 47007) suffering from Trigeminal Neuralgia for the last 13-14 years approached Life Force for treating it. He started the treatment from us on 23rd December 2021.
He had pain on the left side of his face. He was experiencing stabbing and cutting type of pain felt on the face. It used to start from the left head and was spreading to the upper and lower jaw. The pain used to bother him 40 to 50 times a day. The duration of the pain was 15 to 20 seconds. He was experiencing difficulty while eating because of the pain. The patient was on allopathic medicines which he used to take 15 days a month when the pain was very severe. He was already on homeopathic medicines for the last few years and felt a little better with them but there was no complete relief in his pain. On noting detailed history, it was found that the patient had recurrent dental complaints and he had undergone many dental procedures which seem to have caused trigeminal neuralgia.
Physical Generals:
The patient’s appetite was average. He had a specific desire for sweets. His thirst was average. He had no issues related to the urine and stool. His sleep was normal and refreshing.
Psychological and Family Make-Up:
The patient was into business. He had 2 sons and a daughter who were working. The patient was very happy and joyful. He often used to get stress related to business but it was not much.
Self and Family’s Medical History:
No other past illnesses were noticed in the patient’s medical history, except for he was also suffering from Hypertension for the last 10 years and was on antihypertensive medicines. His father suffered from Epilepsy, and his mother had Diabetes mellitus.
At Life Force:

Follow-Ups:
On 25th January 2022, the patient reported that there was no major change after having the medicine. His pain was as it is, and he had to take allopathic medicines for the same. On 2nd March 2022, the patient updated that there was a great improvement with the medicines. The frequency of his pain was reduced than before. He was experiencing the pain 8 to 10 times a day now. On 2nd June 2022, the patient reported that he was a lot better with medicines but, in the last 1 week, the pain had restarted. On 23rd September 2022, the patient updated us in his feedback that there was a lot of improvement with the homeopathic medicines. The frequency of pain had reduced a lot. A mild irritation sometimes would occur, but the pain was not as severe as before. He had stopped taking allopathic medicines for the last 2 months and he was only on Homeopathic medicines now.
On 18th November 2022, the patient updated us being further better. He was not experiencing any episodes of pain. The patient could eat and talk normally without any discomfort. He had stopped all medicines and he was only on Homeopathy for the last 3-4 months.
