Underactive Thyroid Patient Dependent on Thyronorm Tablet Treated Successfully at Life Force

Hypothyroidism, also called an underactive thyroid, is when the thyroid gland doesn’t make enough thyroid hormones to meet your body’s needs. The thyroid is a small, butterfly-shaped gland in the front of your neck. Thyroid hormones control the way your body uses energy; so, they affect nearly every organ in your body, even the way your heart beats. A 45-year-old male from Latur, Maharashtra, Mr. L. P. K. (PIN: 36641) started online treatment at Life Force for an underactive thyroid on 22^nd April 2021.

His underactive thyroid was diagnosed in September 2019 when he had swelling in his both legs, lethargy, weight gain of 4 kg, and mood swings.

Associated Diseases: Lichen planus and Uveitis were his associated diseases.

Drug dependency: He was taking 12.5 mcg Thyronorm 1 tab daily in the morning.

At Life Force Homeopathy a detailed case-taking was done and, after studying the case, Dr. Rajesh Shah prescribed medication to the patient. A blood investigation was done, and certain dietetic changes were advised.

Follow-Ups:

At the follow-up on 17th August 2021, the patient’s relief from mood swings was better. He had no undesirable weight gain and was taking a tab of Thyronorm 12mcg daily along with Life Force’s medicines. The thyroid profile showed a slight increase in the TSH levels, according to the patient. He skipped Thyronorm a day before as he forgot it. He was suggested to be regular with homeopathic medicines.

At the follow-up on 21st April 2022, the patient had no complaints. His relief was better. His tiredness had reduced. He enjoyed a sound sleep. He had no swelling of the legs.

At the follow-up on 18th October 2022, the patient was better. His TSH report was done and he was suggested to send the report, as the patient was out of town. So, he informed orally that on 1st October 2022 his TSH - was 2.84, Thyronorm 12.5 mcg further reduced to 1/2 tablet 12.5 mcg since 1st October 2022.

At the follow-up on 16th December 2022, the patient was better after continuing half a tablet of Thyronorm 12.5 mcg.

At the follow-up on 3^rd February 2023, the patient’s thyroid medicines were stopped by his endocrinologist. He was suggested to continue homeopathy TSH (08/2022)-1.90uIU/mL)

(At the follow-up on 21st March 2023, the patient stopped all conventional medicines 5 months back and was only taking Life Force’s medicines)

Conclusion:

This case illustrates that Life Force Homeopathy treats an underactive thyroid dependent on a Thyronorm tablet by not only reducing the dose of Thyronorm but finally stopping the tablet. Homeopathy is highly effective in promoting recovery from an underactive thyroid successfully, safely with no side effects, and by eliminating drug dependency.
